What You Can Do When You Hold This Visa
With a Student Guardian Visa (Subclass 590), you are permitted to live in Australia for the duration of the student’s stay, or until they reach the age of 18. Your primary role is to provide care and support for the student, ensuring their accommodation and welfare needs are met. Additionally, you can enroll in an English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) for up to 20 hours per week, or take other courses for up to three months.
